Annual City Festivals and Events

Dundee has many annual large events and festivals during the year to suit all members of the family.  During summer the city buzzes with creativity with the Dundee Design Festival and the Almost Blue Festival sees blues music fans flock to the city.  

Later in the year the annual lifestyle  Dundee Flower and Food Festival attracts over 25,000 visitors over a three day event and The Blue Skies Festival. 

Winter sees the city come to life with Dundee Science Festival; Dundee Jazz Festival; Dundee Literary Festival, NEoN,  Dundee Film Festival, Dundee Mountain Film Festival and Light Nights which attracts over 30,000 visitors to the City Centre to enjoy an evening of family entertainment including the switching on of the  Christmas Lights.
