The city has a good quality municipal golf course at Caird Park (18 holes ).

In addition, there are 2 members clubs:-  Downfield Golf Club, described by Paul Lawrie as one of the finest inland courses in Britain;  and Ballumbie, situated on the outskirts of the city. All welcome visitors.

Dundee is also served by a further 34 courses within a 40 minute drive of the famous Carnoustie Championship course, venue for seven Open Championships.

Known as Carnoustie Country, it is one of Scotland's top golfing destinations. Dundee, as part of Carnoustie Country, provides the perfect backdrop to enjoy a golfing break with opportunities around every corner to explore the surrounding rich heritage and beautiful countryside.
