Dundee Rep Theatre is renowned for its bold and groundbreaking productions, including the Scottish premiere of the Pulitzer Prize-winning August: Osage County and the critically acclaimed A History of Paper, which won multiple awards at the Edinburgh Fringe. The world premieres of musicals like No Love Songs and Oor Wullie have cemented its place as a cultural leader.

Scottish Dance Theatre, founded in 1986, has transformed into Scotland’s flagship contemporary dance company. Rooted in Dundee's vibrant industrial and natural landscapes, they collaborate with visionary artists from around the world to create stunning performances to global stages—from remote Scottish village halls to opera houses in South America, art festivals in Europe, and community spaces across the UK.
