Travel to your favourite spot, whether you hop on one of the Green Buses, or discover somewhere new and enjoy the scenery and landscape of the city.
Dundee's active travel routes in and around the city have been developed over the last few years with a key objective to encourage active travel through walking, cycling and public transport, and deploy sustainable alternatives to decarbonise transport.
Whether you're drawn to Perth's historic sites, Dunkeld's tranquil riverside walks or Montrose's wildlife reserves and sandy beaches - there are so many places you can get to from Dundee, and back again in the same day.
Known worldwide for its golf courses, historic university and breathtaking beaches, spend a day, or night teeing off in beautiful St Andrews. For a quieter escape, venture to Pitlochry near the Cairngorms National Park and visit the reindeer centre for an unforgettable day-trip with a stunning highland backdrop.
If you have more time to explore, further north lies the Highlands with majestic mountains and lochs straight from folk tales. Or 60 miles South you’ll find Edinburgh with its historic castles, festivals, fringes and charming cobbled streets.
