The Dundee Hooley
The Dundee Hooley - A Celebration to Remember!
The Hooley lit up the city centre with a heartwarming mix of festive spirit and St Andrew’s Day celebrations. The city centre's Meadowside area buzzed with excitement, bringing the city together for an unforgettable day.
2024’s Hooley was bigger and better, featuring a dazzling mix of live music, exciting performances and incredible giant puppets that roamed the streets! The parade and torchlight procession stole the show as onlookers lined the streets, soaking in the magical atmosphere. Families who attended the lantern-making workshops ahead of the event proudly showcased their creations, adding a personal touch to the parade.
The evening then culminated in a lively ceilidh, where partygoers danced and celebrated the season in style!
