This exciting celebration on December 1st combines the festive spirit with the community kindness of St Andrew’s Day from 3pm - 8pm, Meadowside, City Centre. The Hooley is back with even more giant puppets, live music, and street theatre for all to enjoy.
Be part of the dazzling torchlight procession, or simply line the streets and watch the spectacle unfold. Families can also participate in lantern-making workshops ahead of the procession, and the night will culminate in a lively ceilidh that will have you dancing and celebrating the season with the entire community. Make sure to register for the procession and book your spot in the lantern workshops.
Road Closures for the Dundee Hooley
To ensure public safety during the Dundee Hooley on Sunday 1st December, a series of road closures will be in place from 8am to 10.30pm. Affected streets include Meadowside, Reform Street, Bank Street, High Street, Albert Square, Euclid Crescent, Euclid Street, and Panmure Street. Additionally, there will be temporary rolling closures during the parade between 5.30pm and 6.30pm on Commercial Street.
